Quality of Development Services

Our customers usually have just three simple requirements. They wish to know what's going on with their project on a regular basis. They wish to communicate with an English speaking person who  knows what he's talking about. They do not wish the web development agency or individual devloper to charge rediculous amounts of money for their services. Apparently these days you feel like you've hit a jackpot when you've found a service provider which does these three things.

This should not be so scarce. But something happened which made the services market deliver poorly. Huge demand made hefty development prices in the developed countries, and when the tasks spilled over to Asia, providers just couldn't deliver by western standards. There's a culture as well as a language barrier resulting in bad communication.

I've tried to outsource our surplus of tasks to India myself, as a managing director of my web development firm. The prices were luring, but I've soon realized I will lose my clients if I go down that route. So I've sticked to finding local talent for the job here in Serbia.

Apparently Serbia is a great place for outsourcing. We're still cheaper than countries in the region since they all have joined EU, and we haven't. Serbian people learn English in the highschool and have been a part of Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia was called "little USA" of the Balkans. That was due to the sharing of many US values.

So when my clients come from USA and UK I know we're on the same wavelength and that this along with my low prices will be a great advantage for my firm. This proves to be so over quite a few years.
